What a great new addition to the restaurant scene in the area! A mexican steakhouse beautifully decorated and designed. Kudos to the design team! As to the food and cocktails, a total package. Although a bit pricier than average for a steakhouse, the prices warrant the quality. The raw fish appetizers were fresh and top quality on top of tastefully curated. The portions are substantial and by the time entrees came around, I was already feeling full. The shrimp risotto dish was fresh and buttery she the steak was cooked to perfect temperature and sear. The cocktails were equally on point leaving our first experience a full 5 stars!

Fantastic spot. Seems a bit of a weird location as it appears to be right off a country road in Basking Ridge but you don't want to miss trying it out. This place is pretty pricy which is expected for the fine-dining establishments so I wouldn't come for a normal date night or with friends, but is worth it for special occasions. Came here to celebrate my wife's birthday and hoping to visit again soon for another celebration. Parking is Valet only which I probably could have done without, but not a big deal. Beautiful interior, both in the main dining room as well as upstairs. Great experience with the service too - never felt like I had to wait too long for someone to come and they were always good about answering any questions I had. Large selection of drinks. Not as many margarita options as you'd expect for a Mexican spot but they make up for it with plenty of other options. They also have some excellent mocktails for those who prefer alcohol-free. You wouldn't expect it at such a fine-dining place, but the Chips & Guac are highly recommended. It sounds so plain but on top of being extremely fresh, the portion size is huge which matters when you're paying a lot. Pretty much every entree and appetizer we've tried has been excellent, and haven't found anything to not be worth it. Yes it's expensive but you're paying for quality and they deliver there. Dessert was on point as well. Will caution that it can be hard to get a reservation here on weekends. But don't let that stop you from trying!

Amazing dinner experience at Toca Vez! I absolutely love the vibe here though it goes get a bit loud. Started out the night with a delicious margarita and some yummy apps: Seared Yellow Fin Tuna, Grilled Octopus and Shrimp Tacos. The steak here is on point, I highly recommend it if you are into that. I had the Enchilada of the Day (which was chicken that day). I wasn't too sure about ordering Enchiladas for a higher-end spot like this but they did not disappoint. In fact, all of my tablemates tried some of my dish and agreed it was their favorite. Just think of them as elevated enchiladas! Our waitresses were super sweet and our food was all amazing. I definitely recommend Toca Vez. Just make sure you have a reservation during busier times.

Second time coming and again does not disappoint. The food was excellent , the service was great, the atmosphere was great for a group of six. Highly recommend coming if you haven't. *GET THE CHURROS*

An amazing New Mexican, fusion Steakhouse just what the area needed! I hidden gem in Basking ridge this place is top notch ! Stuffed peppers were amazing & the shrimp cocktail was gargantuan! I tried the prickly pear & was in love it took me right back to Arizona! I had the porterhouse cooked medium with the street corn & mash ! Gorgeous decor & a great date spot!
